treetop trail in hinterglemm
A magical winter adventure in alpine forests
At the end of the valley home to Saalbach Hinterglemm lies the Treetop Trail. This 2km path starting at the car park is accessible in winter on foot, using a horse-drawn carriage or with a special shuttle service. Beginning at the Lindlingalm hut, it leads over the 200m "Golden Gate Bridge of the Alps" up to 42m above the valley floor. The Treetop Trail itself winds it way along steps, towers, platforms and bridges. The trail is open from 20 December until 31 March between Tuesday and Sunday from 11:00 until 21:00.
