kneipp water therapy
Refreshes and invogorates tired muscles
Kneipp water therapy is part of what is known as "traditional European medicine", a branch of medicine designed to promote wellbeing in mind, body and soul. There is a Kneipp water therapy facility right outside the front door of our hotel.
All in alll there are three different pools. Each is lined with rocks on the bottom and filled with crystal-clear mountain water. As you would expect, the water is cold – but that is the whole point of Kneipp water therapy: as you wade through the water, the circulation of blood through your body is stimulated. The perfect way to relax and invigorate tired legs after a hike!
We recommend taking each leg completely out of the water as you walk through. At the end of the session, dry your legs and feet vigorously with a towel to warm them up again to stimulate the circulation even more. The best way to finish off is with a cool drink on our sunny terrace or a visit to the sauna.
Location: directly next to the hotel's pool and sunbathing lawn
Info: bring a towel and warm socks
