alpine yoga

Feel the power of nature

It is well known that yoga comes from India – a land where cows are sacred. Well, here in Hinterglemm we have plenty of cows and, now, we also have our very own yoga: alpine yoga! Instead of a stuffy gym or hall, our yoga sessions take place on a lush alpine pasture surrounded by fabulous views and plenty of fresh air.

Sessions are held on Wednesdays from 16:00 until 17:00 at the Hintermaisalm, and cater for everyone from beginners to experts.

All you need to bring is comfortable clothing and €10. Speak to a member of staff at reception to reserve your place.

The easiest way to get to the Hintermaisalm is via the Zwölferkogelbahn cable car. Get off at the mid-way station. From there it is a 20-minute walk. Those who wish to walk up to the yoga location from the centre of Hinterglemm should plan around 50 minutes. It is also possible to drive there.

Location: Zwölferkogel cable car (mid-way station), then 20-minute walk
Info: to book contact Sabine Gensbichler by calling +43 (0) 6541 64 88
Duration: each yoga session lasts around 1 hour
