hit the piste in saalbach hinterglemm

Snowsure slopes and great activities in the heart of the Alps

Boasting 270 kilometres of perfectly prepared pistes, the ski resort of Saalbach Hinterglemm has plenty of slopes for skiers and snowboarders of all abilities. All in all there are 140 km of easy pistes, 110 kilometres of intermediate pistes and 20 km of difficult pistes. In the spring months the resort is famous for its soft spring snow known in German as "Firn". A network of state-of-the-art lifts and cable cars gives access to the Alps throughout the season.

Quick access without long waiting times is guaranteed. Directly from Hinterglemm there are 9 ski lifts (7 cable cars and 2 T-bar lifts) to the slopes (in total there are 70 ski lifts in the ski area). The Rosentalerhof has two different access possibilities in the immediate proximity: the Bergfriedlift in 80 meters and the Reiterkogelbahn in only 300 meters. The cabins have a very high transport capacity with small units, each cabin has a maximum capacity of 10 persons. Please bring your mask or a warming loop scarf (available at the reception or lift facilities). In order to get you on the slopes earlier, we have extended our breakfast times: from 7:30 a.m. you can already have breakfast.

Guests who just can't wait to hit the slopes can buy their lift passes in the hotel and save valuable time in the morning.

perfect location for winter sports

The Rosentalerhof is just 80 metres from the Bergfriedlift and 300 metres from the Reiterkogelbahn cable car giving skiers and snowboarders direct access to the Saalbach Hinterglemm ski resort.

The Reiterkogelbahn is located on the sunny side of the valley and marks the start of the "Hinterglemmer Runde", a ski safari ending at the Bergfriedlift. The Bergfriedlift, on the other hand, is the starting point for an extended ski safari to Leogang / Saalbach and back to the Reiterkogelbahn cable car. Leaving from the Bergfriedlift, the "Hinterglemmer Runde" ski safari can also be skied in the opposite direction and concludes at the Reiterkogelbahn, where the Goaßstall après-ski bar is the ideal place to soothe tired muscles.

In the evening it is also just a few minutes' walk to the restaurants, sports shops and hire shops in the pedestrianised area in the centre of Hinterglemm. After a few more drinks at the Goaßstall, you will be back home at the Rosentalerhof in just five minutes.

Also dann: Ski heil!
